the new shop and remoulded existing shop maintain the street line and enclose a parking area off the street. this infill of 6 no. detached housing is on a relatively narrow site, measuring 30m x 70m. the project is in keeping with the development plan for the area, respecting the scale, character and finish of the existing village. the location of the existing underground public services had a significant influence on the site layout. the slim houses are slotted into individual sites measuring 10m x 24m.
